HVDC is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.
In this exciting role as Project Controls Manager, you will be part of Hitachi Energy HVDC business and based in Västerås or Ludvika, Sweden. You will be acting as a key resource for planning, scheduling, controlling and monitoring of customer specific large-scale projects and delivering accurate and thorough information about the project status, including the schedule, progress, planned, actual, forecast, resources and productivity trends, and risks, to the project manager and line managers in a timely manner.
How you’ll make an impact
Leading the Project Planning and Controlling team for one or more HVDC project(s) in the region.
Contributing to the on-time delivery of the project. Driving collaboration between the partners, stakeholders and customers.
Ensuring close cooperation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders in your role as a central contact person.
Actively monitoring and controlling the project progress using Hitachi Energy policies and best practices to ensure that customer requirements are completed on time and in accordance with the contract.

Your background
Leading the Project Planning and Controlling team for one or more HVDC project(s) in the region.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in EPC project controls/management (EPC – engineering, procurement, construction).
Certification or further education like PMI-PMP is a plus.
Knowledge of MS Office and Primavera P6.
Strong communication skills and pronounced customer orientation as well as structured working methods and ability to work in a team.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required; knowledge of Swedish is advantageous

Qualifications for the role
You are highly skilled in Lean Six Sigma, SAP ERP, and warehouse/supply planning technologies, and you enjoy working with operational excellence frameworks and digital supply chain systems in the electronics manufacturing and fulfillment market.
Have established skills and over 10 years of experience in operations, supply chain management, and production planning.
(OPTIONAL: working as Planning and Fulfillment Center Manager with EMS operations, SAP platforms, and advanced inventory control technologies)
Highly adept in SAP ERP, warehouse management systems (WMS), and performance monitoring tools.
You are passionate about continuous improvement and are innovative around leadership development, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
Extensive knowledge of and proven experience in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management or any other relevant studies
You are at ease communicating in English across global and cross-functional teams.

Planning & Fulfillment Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead supply planning, inventory management, and Operational Purchasing in the Planning & Fulfillment (P&F) center in Sweden. Dina arbetsuppgifter
För kommande uppdrag hos våra kunder i och runt Västerås söker vi nu dig som är ute efter nya utmaningar inom produktionsplanering. Vi söker dig som har gedigen erfarenhet av planering inom tillverkande industri. I den här rollen är du en viktig medlem i produktionsledningen med ansvar för att produktionen, där du kommer att följa upp och underhålla produktionen. Har övergripande planeringsansvar för leveranser, tillverkningsorder, planering av material och beställningar. Samt ansvara för när ordrar ska köras och vilka produkter som behöver finnas på plats för kommande körningar.

I rollen som planerare har du ett övergripande ansvar för att planera, bevaka och optimera produktionen utifrån målsättningar, strategier och övriga riktlinjer, där du skapar och uppdaterar produktionsplanen för tillverkning av företagets samtliga produkter. Din profil

Kvalifikationer:

Vi söker en erfaren projektledare med en kandidatexamen inom företagsekonomi, personaladministration, projektledning eller ett relaterat område.

Det är önskvärt med en magisterexamen.

Du bör ha minst 8 års erfarenhet av projektledning och en framgångsrik historik av genomförda projekt.

Dina ledarskaps- och teamhanteringsfärdigheter bör vara starka, med förmåga att motivera och inspirera teammedlemmar att nå projektets mål. Det är viktigt att du har erfarenhet av att arbeta i en tvärfunktionell teammiljö och har förmågan att samarbeta effektivt med ämnesexperter från olika funktioner.

För att vara framgångsrik i rollen bör du ha utmärkta kommunikations-, interpersonella och intressenthanteringsfärdigheter. Du bör kunna kommunicera flytande på engelska, både i tal och skrift. Starka analytiska och problemlösningsfärdigheter är också viktiga, med förmågan att identifiera och mildra risker och problem.

Som projektledare är det avgörande att du har starka organisatoriska och tidsplaneringsfärdigheter och du bör kunna prioritera och hantera flera uppgifter samtidigt.

The operation of all the cranes is controlled from a central control room in order to optimize the productivity of the terminal.
This position reports to Operations Manager.


Your responsibilities
Managing container terminal crane projects.
Holding the overall responsibility for the project execution while the position requires that you manage everything from general project issues to the more hands-on details together with your project team.
Being responsible for the project from hand over from the Sales Unit to expiry of warranty.
Managing projects that vary in size and range from approximately MSEK 10-300 and achieving their deliverables and compliance with requirements.
Identifying, analyzing and addressing project risks, with the regular sharing of lessons learned.
Readiness to travel since our customers are always abroad.

Som ansvarig för materialplaneringen kommer du till en central position i verksamheten i Lindesberg. Du leder en grupp på fyra personer som har ansvar för att säkerställa materialflödet av direkt material in i fabriken. Utöver materialstyrarna ansvarar du även för tre medarbetare som sköter transporter och inventering av lagret.

The Methods Engineer liaises between Engineering and Manufacturing to optimize manufacturability of products, throughput times and productivity, leads production of the building of the first vehicle of each type, proving processes and TAKT times and supports Engineering in capturing Manufacturing needs - drives Design for Manufacturing and standardization.
He /She ensures that manufacturing layouts and technical documentation are accurate and optimised across all functions and that all technical information is up to date, complete and available on time. The Methods Engineer also ensures that the introduction of technical changes is effectively coordinated and that build of first vehicle is successfully executed. He/She drives process improvements based on feedback from later stages/customer.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


1.
Create, document and maintain user friendly manufacturing documentation (Work Record Books, Work Instructions etc.) for Production staff;
Create and maintain the manufacturing Bill of Materials;
Create and maintain labor estimates for tasks, including skills required.

Create production throughput plans that are based on continuous improvement towards lean
manufacturing;
Material control: defining the contents and design of Assembly Kits required to support production, creation of stores pick lists and fastener kits.


3.


Liaise with all site functions on project related issues.


4.


Carry out investigations and reports into processes and component failure, including correspondence with Engineering and Quality departments to resolve technical enquires in a
timely manner;
Lead technical reviews/warranty investigations and assist with implementation of corrective and improvement actions with the project and production management teams.


5.


Provide technical support to Bids;
Provide cost estimates for changes and implement Customer Variations/Variation Orders and communicate changes to the Production and project functions;
Undertake technical compliance reviews against customer specifications (clause by clause);
Support the execution of time studies.


Qualifications


• Technical education in an area such as tooling, engineering, manufacturing engineering, engineering change management etc.;
• Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in rail industry (alternatively, in other transportation or similar heavy production industry);
• Experience in operations, production, planning, technical documentation, digitalization of planning methods/tools, process improvement;
• Knowledge of or experience in using Maximo system would be valuable;
• Language skills required: advanced/business fluent level of English and Swedish.

Your responsibilities
Managing container terminal crane projects.
Holding the overall responsibility for the project execution while the position requires that you manage everything from general project issues to the more hands-on details together with your project team.
Being responsible for the project from hand over from the Sales Unit to expiry of warranty.
Managing projects that vary in size and range from approximately MSEK 10-300 and achieving their deliverables and compliance with requirements.
Identifying, analyzing and addressing project risks, with the regular sharing of lessons learned.
Readiness to travel since our customers are always abroad.
