Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your system engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the success of our projects by developing and managing brake system solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (project management, purchasing, cross-functional engineering teams), act as the technical interface for stakeholders, and contribute to critical engineering calculations, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining project-specific brake system architecture and leading engineering teams across various domains, but also support installation, testing, and troubleshooting activities at test tracks or customer sites.

We’ll look to you to:
Analyze external requirements (customer specifications, standards, norms, and regulations) and internal rolling stock requirements to define the project-specific brake system architecture.
Take full engineering ownership of the brake system, acting as the technical interface for project management, purchasing, customers, and cross-functional engineering teams, and functionally lead the engineering team responsible for system definition and component design across mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and software domains.
Perform engineering calculations, including pneumatic system and component sizing, with knowledge of train brake performance and air consumption calculations.
Prepare engineering non-recurring cost (NRC) estimates and contribute to technical risk assessment for projects.
Define the test and validation strategy, prepare test specifications, evaluate test results, and produce approval and certification documentation in coordination with the validation and RAMS teams.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and brake performance validation on test tracks or customer sites, including travel as required.

Om rollen
Som Transportkoordinator ansvarar du för att säkerställa effektiva och hållbara transportflöden till och från anläggningen. Du planerar och samordnar transporter, hanterar tullprocesser, dokumentation samt följer upp prestanda och kostnader. The role

The role

Your future role

You'll help us monitor quality during the development phase of the supplier's product/process and ensure compliance with Alstom requirements

We’ll look to you for:
Deliver project quality activities for critical purchased parts for his/her commodity from the release of the first Supplier Part List till the obtention of a positive First Article Inspection (FAI* with Go status): define & deploy the Part Approval Process/Supplier Product Quality Development cycle, contribute to all DFQ* milestones for the purchased part (descending and mounting phases of the V-cycle).
Perform supplier quality risk assessments at the Business award stage.
Ensure with the project team that Quality Alstom requirements are respected by the supplier before the “Go Order” milestone (Quality Specification and SPQD Plan clause by clause).
Is responsible for the Go/NoGo decision for “Go Production”, “Go for First Train Validation” and “FAI”, relying on inputs from Engineering for the product validation.
Perform handover to Supplier Quality Serial Life (after FAI Go + first 3 successful deliveries)
Trigger the supplier escalation process when SPQD deliverables are at risk & animate problem-solving.
Involvement in NCR and Waiver process when needed
Take initiative to have an active role in Return of Experience (REX)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As a Project Controller you will be the co-pilot to the Project Manager (PM) and the single point of contact for all financial topics related to the project. Together with the PM you will drive the project performance to ensure the achievement of the financial goals. This will include providing financial analyses for decision making and contributing to the risk & opportunity management. On project level, you will furthermore lead the budget & forecast processes and ensure that the accounting rules for long-term contracts are followed.


IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
Provide transparency on the financial situation of the project to the Project Manager (PM) & Project Core Team (PCT).
Attend PCT meetings and other relevant project meetings.
Challenge the PCT to ensure successful project execution.
Together with the PM and PCT, prepare reporting for project reviews including relevant financial analyses.
Manage the monthly closing process for the project and ensure that project reporting is in line with accounting rules.
Control project cost, analyse variances and recommend possible courses of action to remedy.
Contribute to risk and opportunity management by challenging project inputs and recommending possible courses of action to mitigate risk or to achieve opportunities.
Ensure that project calculations reflect the current status of the project and lead the re-assessment of the project cost assumptions.
Lead the Budget and Forecast processes on project level and update project planning in the financial systems accordingly.
Manage the invoicing process, ensuring correct VAT treatment and following up on receivables.
Drive hedging & bond activities in cooperation with central teams (where applicable).
Coordinate with internal stakeholders within and outside the finance organization.

Strong analytical skills

You will work with all safety-related parts of several embedded products, with a software, hardware, and system view. Define the Program Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan, to ensure proper coverage and demonstration that design requirements and intended use cases are met. Collect the contributions of all involved stakeholders.
Ensure the application and adherence to the reference processes, methods & tools, requesting deviations whenever appropriate.
Define and agree V&V activity schedule.
Organize and lead documental verification and reviews within the V&V domain.
Manage full validation of the equipment under test.
Manage functionally the Program Verification & Validation Team and ensure/control their deliverables for the project.
Ensure independence of verification and validation from design

Om uppdraget:

I rollen som Speditör/PCE kommer du arbeta med att få kundens exporter och importer att flyta på ett smidigt sätt. Varje utrustning behöver ha rätt produktklassificering både i form av tullkoder och materialklassning. Du kommer i rollen hantera stora mängder information och prioritera vilket material som ska klassas först. I rollen kommer du att sätta dig in i tullverkets information och tolka texter samt jämföra dokumentation som vår kunds leverantörer tillhandahåller. Du kommer även arbeta med kundens egna dokumentation till egenutvecklade produkter.

För att passa i rollen tror vi att du är en driven och strukturerad person som har förmåga att hantera många bollar i luften och prioritera i ditt arbete. Du kan hantera egna processer men är också en van lagspelare och har en god samarbetsförmåga.

Your future role
The main purpose of the role is to develop and execute in particular integration and overall (validation) tests for the whole traction control system.
The control system can be a very complex system with hard requirements on redundancy, reliability and safety, which put a need for the tester to gain a good understanding of the whole traction system. We also foresee the need of the tester to be able to act at test leader and on a longer perspective as verifier and/or validator.
In most cases the testing is developed and executed in our simulation environments, which can be within the tool suit from MathWorks or on the “Hardware-in-the-Loop” simulator (RTS). Part of the job is to develop the test environments to fulfill the needs from testing.
All work is done in close cooperation with our teams working as well on test environment and product development as product configuration/development for customer deliveries.


We’ll look to you for:
Write test specifications
Develop and execute test cases, primarily integration and overall tests (system validation)
Define and execute different test methodologies, e.g. exploratory test, when appropriate
Develop the test environment to cover the needs for testing
Evaluate, analyze and document test results

Job Description
We are now looking for a Transport & Logistics Administrator to our client in Västerås. Your job will be to ensure inbound and /or outbound product delivery and tracking. Ensures shipments are sent on time and according to defined plan and schedule.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Arrange customs documents.
- Contact and communicate with customs brokers and customs agencies – specify the need and provide necessary details about goods that is subject to shipment.
- Prepare packing lists.
- Issue shipping invoice (SAP access-special shipping module in SAP).
- Arrange transportation (ASR = air, see, road) – either directly or in collaboration with AA logistic, ask for offers from transportation companies, select the way of transport for optimum cost.
- Coordinate receipt of goods from suppliers, to make it ready for shipment.
- Understand Letter of Credit to be able to act according to LC conditions for various customers.
- Support PMs when presenting logistic related documents to the bank.
- Understand INCOTERMs (understand corresponding settings in SAP and other applications).
- Support during tender preparation with shipment and logistic set up and cost estimate.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Vår kund i Västerås söker nu en Quality & Operational Excellence Specialist där du får arbeta i ett team som tillhandahåller elmotorer för hållbara transporter. Kunden utvecklar, tillverkar och säljer elmotorer för tågbranschen.
Företaget har möjlighet att bygga den perfekta lösningen för tåg, oavsett typ, geografiskt läge eller effektområde, då man har en anpassbar och fullständig produktportfölj av motorer och generatorer. Efter varje kunds krav och driftförhållanden skräddarsys varje motor och generator. Traktionsprodukterna erbjuder låga kostnader vid investering, tillförlitlighet och högeffektiv drift med minskat behov av underhåll för lägsta möjliga driftskostnad.
Till Västerås är det enkelt att resa, exempelvis tar du dig med tåg från Stockholms Centralstation och resan tar cirka en timme.

Som en del av företagets kvalitetsavdelningen kommer du arbeta med administrativa uppgifter inom organisationen och i tät samverkan med ett tvärfunktionellt team. Dina arbetsuppgifter varierar utifrån det steg som projektet befinner sig i. Som en del av teamet och i arbetet bidrar du med kunskaper och färdigheter inom process, kvalitet, Q&OpEx och värdekedja.
• Projektkvalitet: Du kommer säkerställa att kvalitetsprocessen följs inom planen och administrera utveckling och progression
• Leverantörskvalitet: Du kommer att förbereda leverantörsrelaterade kvalitetsdokument och följa upp samt dokumentera arbetet
• Produktionskvalitet: Du kommer förbereda produktionsrelaterade kvalitetsdokumentation och följa upp samt dokumentera arbetet
• Kvalitetshanteringssystem (IMS): Du kommer hantera dokumentation inom systemet och säkerställa att dokumenten hålls uppdaterade. Det görs med hjälp av bl.a. Word, Excel och Visio)
• Hantera dokumentation rörande Rail Business IRIS

Experience ofshipping, both in project form and a daily transactions, customs handling and negotiations with forwarders are required. Proficiency in English and Swedish is required, both written and oral.
