Role Overview:
As a Protection & Control Lead Engineer, you will be technically responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading protection and commissioning activities for High Voltage Substation projects.

What will you do?
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, Linxon HSE requirements, and customer standards during testing and commissioning activities.
Proactively identify safety risks and implement mitigation measures during commissioning phases.

Protection & Commissioning Leadership
· Lead and coordinate protection and commissioning activities across multiple projects.
· Initiate and manage contracts with commissioning subcontractors.
· Plan commissioning scope, schedules, and resource requirements in alignment with project timelines.
· Oversee execution of commissioning works, providing technical guidance and on?site support as needed.
· Control and monitor commissioning progress with regular site visits.
Ensure Compilation of red?mark drawings, commissioning documentation, and final reports following successful energization.

Technical Leadership & Troubleshooting
Act as technical escalation point to support site commissioning engineers.
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and operational risks related to protection systems and substation commissioning.
Support and oversee site commissioning teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex protection, control, and system integration issues.
Act as escalation point for technical issues during testing, energization, and handover.

FAT / SAT & Testing
Develop and maintain Pre?FAT, FAT, and SAT Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Plan, prepare, and actively participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Review test results, ensure compliance with specifications, and manage deviations and corrective actions.

Stakeholder Coordination
Interface with customers, design engineers, project managers, contract managers, commissioning engineers, and operations teams.
Provide technical support to project managers, lead engineers, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Report findings clearly and collaborate across disciplines to ensure project success.

Tendering & Early Project Involvement
Participate in tendering activities, including:
Reviewing and understanding tender and technical specifications
Evaluating commissioning scope, risks, and requirements
Supporting cost estimation and commissioning strategy development

Standards, Procedures & Quality
Develop, review, and maintain commissioning test protocols, procedures, and checklists.
Ensure commissioning activities meet Linxon quality standards and contractual requirements.

Project Delivery
Support delivery of projects on time, within budget, and with required quality, aligned with Linxon’s organizational and project management objectives.
Maintain a balance between office?based engineering responsibilities and frequent site travel to support critical commissioning phases.

What will you do?
As Civil Manager / Byggprojektledare, you will have overall responsibility for ground, civil, and building works within Linxon’s EPC substation projects in Sweden.
You will be part of a growing construction organization consisting of construction project managers, civil engineers, and site managers. Functionally, you report to the Head of Construction, and within projects you report to the Project Manager.
The role requires close coordination between engineering, procurement, site execution, and contractors, and involves travel to project sites across Sweden.
Key Responsibilities:
Civil & Construction Management
Overall responsibility for groundworks, civil, and building construction scope in EPC HV substation projects
Ensure civil works are executed in accordance with contractual requirements, technical specifications, schedules, and budgets
Coordinate civil activities with key stake holders beside Contractors and Site Mangers to ensure smooth interfaces

Engineering & Design Coordination
Contract, coordinate, and lead civil design consultants
Manage and follow up the civil design process, ensuring constructability and compliance with project requirements
Act as the main interface between design, site, and project management for civil-related matters

Tendering & Early Project Involvement
Support the Sales and Tendering organization during bid and proposal phases
Contribute to technical solutions, execution strategies, cost estimates, and risk assessments
Decide and recommend contracting strategy

Procurement & Contractor Management
Responsible for procurement of civil and construction subcontractors
Manage ongoing contractual, technical, and commercial issues with contractors during project execution
Follow up contractor performance regarding safety, quality, progress, and cost

Site & Interface Coordination
Work in close collaboration with Linxon’s Site Managers and Construction Teams
Ensure effective coordination between site execution and office functions
Participate in site meetings, progress reviews, and inspections

Experience Required:
Proven experience in leading large construction or infrastructure projects
Experience from HV substations, power infrastructure, or EPC turnkey projects is strongly preferred
Good knowledge of Swedish construction contract law, especially AB 04 and ABT 06
Professional working proficiency in Swedish & English, both written and spoken

Overview of the Job:

What will you do?

Technical lead of secondary Engineering activities of large and complex EHV/HV Air & Gas Insulated Substation (AIS & GIS) projects.
Provide information for civil designs and coordination of interfaces between construction planning, protection and control system, auxiliary power system, LV and control cables, surveillance system, and equipment suppliers for the project.
Participate in technical discussions with customers and suppliers, handle site queries and take necessary actions up to as-built documentation
Responsible for Engineering budget, schedule, forecast, risk & change management activities.
Provide technical solution for substations comprising Single line diagram for auxiliary power system, dimensioning of Auxiliary power system, technical information, and associated detail drawings.
Review and evaluate vendor's solutions to comply with Linxon and customer requirements.
Provide technical calculations, technical purchasing specifications, and schedules for all equipment for projects or tenders.
Prepare bill of quantities & cost estimation, deviations & clarifications for technical solutions.
Review of Supplier's design, Factory acceptance test plans, attend factory & site tests.
Provide technical support to tender and project.


Experience Required:
Extensive substation engineering experience of local utilities SVK, Vattenfall, Ellevio. Knowledge of required legislative demands and standards.

Competencies/ Skills Required:
Fluent in Swedish and English – both written and spoken
Team player with a proactive approach to achieve results.
Excellent in communication, to interact with external and internal parties at all levels in a multi-cultural environment.
Knowledge of system studies like voltage drop, short circuit calculation, Single Line Diagrams, Auxiliary Power Systems, cables.
Knowledge of secondary engineering Protection and control system.
Strong in MS Office & handling design calculation tools, knowledge in MicroStation and AutoCAD is required.


Education Required:
Bachelor or master’s in electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

What will you do?

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
1. Site planning:
Plans project on-site activities with Project Manager including necessary local resources, equipment and milestones. Coordinates agreement between customer and external resources on construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization and policy.
2. Site coordination and monitoring:
Responsible for the assigned site area as received from the customer or Project Manager till handing over to the end customer on completion of the project. Smooth and effective coordinating of all on-site activities to ensure the successful execution of start-up, construction, installation, testing and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, project time schedule, and safety requirements.
3. Stakeholder relations:
Serves as a project representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers as well as other local organizations such as authorities, banks, and suppliers to ensure their active support of field activities.
4. Health, safety and environment (HSE) and project security:
Ensures detailed and up-to-date construction Health & Safety (H&S) plan is in place in respect of each work package, compliant with the LINXON H&S plan. Ensures all on-site resources are properly trained on company health, safety and environment policy and proactively promotes health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project. Empowered to suspend any activities on site (be it by LINXON personnel or by subcontractors) in case of OHS violation and, if a situation arises, takes the necessary steps to ensure that LINXON employees and other persons who may be present are not put at risk.
5. Material handling:
Ensures correct handling, storage and installation of delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage as well as local transportation to secure timely site delivery of equipment and material.
6. Sub-contractor Handling:
Manages the sub-contractors on site hired by LINXON to ensure necessary quality, safety, and progress achieved to meet delivery date and agreed standards.
7. Site cost management:
If applicable - controls project cost for the project site work, monitors actual spend against forecasts, and estimates final cost for the same. Manages the site cash and also handle small-2 site purchasing within agreed purchase limits.
8. Documentation:
Ensures all documentation is modified and updated as necessary. Good document control at site and latest revisions are used for the construction work on site.
9. People leadership and development:
Ensures (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect reports within HR policies. Coordinates local accommodation, site facilities, office equipment, petty cash, etc.

Responsible for the assigned site area as received from the customer or Project Manager till handing over to the end customer on completion of the project. 3. Stakeholder relations:

Ensures correct handling, storage and installation of delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage as well as local transportation to secure timely site delivery of equipment and material.
6. Sub-contractor Handling:
Manages the sub-contractors on site hired by LINXON to ensure necessary quality, safety, and progress achieved to meet delivery date and agreed standards.
7. Site cost management:
If applicable - controls project cost for the project site work, monitors actual spend against forecasts, and estimates final cost for the same. Manages the site cash and also handle small-2 site purchasing within agreed purchase limits.
8. Documentation:
Ensures all documentation is modified and updated as necessary. Good document control at site and latest revisions are used for the construction work on site.

As Commercial & Contract Manager reporting to the Head of Legal and Contract Management, you will be part of the EPC (team of experienced and motivated professionals, handling a number of large turnkey projects serving customers in the Nordic region.
What will you do:
Contract Oversight – Effective Governance ensures the portfolio of contracts in the business, follows best practice in contract and claim management methodologies, protecting the company's commercial interests while remaining in accordance with internal standard procedures.
Procurement - Tender preparation, negotiation, recommendation and award. Review and comment on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions.
Contract Administration - (from project kick-off to project closure) Identifies the contract baseline (including terms and conditions, specifications, drawings, estimate, proposal, schedule and other documents incorporated in the contract) and highlights areas of potential risk.
Subcontract Administration – Effective administration of our domestic subcontractors to ensure the awarded scope is delivered as prescribed with all contractual obligations duly satisfied. Establish processes to ensure timely valuation, certification and payment.
Change Management - Establishes and enforces standard change methodologies in portfolio of contracts to identify changes and quantify the additional time and compensation due to LINXON per the contract, defines approval requirements and communicates changes to the customer.
Project Reporting – In accordance with reporting schedule and in concert with Project Manager and functional teams prepare the Monthly Project Report which will include information pertaining to Schedule Status, Procurement Update, Cash Flow, Cost / Value Reconciliation, Risk & Opportunity Register.
Risk management - Analyzes contract terms to highlight areas of potential opportunity and risk, such as ambiguities, omissions and conflicts, as work proceeds. Seeks advice from Legal to draft, negotiate and finalize agreements during the Sales and Project Execution phases.

Experience Required:
We are looking for an experienced contract manager with an independent and solution-oriented working style.
Extensive experience related to EPC contracts, preferably in the energy industry.

Role description
In your role as installation manager you will report to the Head of Field Operations within Linxon Sweden and will be responsible for the Installation Department managing a team of ca 10 persons including but limited to the following duties:
• Overall responsible for the Project's installation works, incl. High-voltage equipment for AC substations (130kV – 400 kV).
• Subcontracting of the installation package within the allocated project budget.
• Support for procurement of Subcontractors.
• Close follow-up of ongoing projects and handle issues with subcontractors during the execution project.
• Work closely with project Managers
· Resource planning of site managers to be allocated for the different projects and provide necessary support to the site management team
· Develop and improve procedures and QA processes to ensure delivery in accordance with electrical safety, HSE and Quality standards.
· Be part of the planning for Site Activities
· Support the sales department and prepare RfQ related to installation works in the tender stage.
We operate throughout Sweden and Nordic countries which requires travelling to different project sites when needed.

Your background
It is a requirement that you have worked in the field of energy, high-voltage substations and EPC turnkey projects. You have at least 10 years' experience from similar position, or as installation supervisor, site manager and would like to take the next step to become a department manager and lead a sizeable team. Qualifications

5. Experience Required:

- Bachelor or master’s in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Extensive substation engineering experience in utilities. Knowledge of required legislative demands and standards.

6. Competencies/ Skills Required:

- Result orientated team player with a proactive approach.
- Excellent in communication, to interact with external and internal parties at all levels in a multi-cultural environment.
- Expert knowledge in Substation design and engineering, Layouts, Primary design & calculations, Grounding & Lightning design, Steel design inputs, transformers, HV & MV Switchgear systems,
- Knowledge of system studies like load flow, short circuit calculation, insulation coordination; Single Line Diagrams, CT/VT calculations, Auxiliary Power Systems, power cables.
- Knowledge of secondary engineering, protection and control system.
- Experience in Installation & Commissioning is a plus.
- Strong in MS Office, knowledge in MicroStation and AutoCAD is required.

7. Education:

- Master or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or ability to demonstrate experience delivering complex projects in the transmission market
