Your responsibilities
Working in close collaboration with design engineers, supply and quality departments within the development projects and proposing solutions and optimizations for increased performance
Conducting or coordinating complex analyses and a range of engineering activities encompassing one or more of the disciplines load calculations, dynamic simulations, and structural analysis
Supporting the strategic technology direction and maintaining awareness of state-of-the-art technology and market trends
Applying scientific theories and technology concepts and new methodologies and technologies to projects and problems
Providing experience and expertise in the execution and use of tools, processes, and methods, and coordinating the calculation work in development and technology projects
Identifying customer value, and developing and implementing creative ideas to improve operations and customer satisfaction
Your background
M.Sc. within Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Physics, with specialization in either Solid Mechanics, Mechatronics, Machine Elements or equivalent
2-5 years of experience in structural analysis and/or multi-body simulations
An interest in development of computational tools for example in Matlab, Python or VBA is a plus
A solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
Experience of structural analysis in Nastran is an advantage
Experience of working with machine elements is an advantage
Experience and interest in coordinating and organizing calculation work within project is meriting
Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement, Swedish is considered an advantage
