In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality financial governance, compliance, reporting, and advisory support across the country organization.
How you’ll make an impact
As Country Controller, you will lead and oversee the full spectrum of financial activities at the country level. Your role includes responsibility for financial integrity, compliance, regulatory reporting, and strategic financial insights that support business performance.
Lead financial governance and compliance: Ensure that all financial processes, transactions, filings, and tax submissions are accurate, timely, and compliant with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Drive financial reporting and analysis: Oversee country-level financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts, and regulatory submissions, while providing senior leaders with actionable insights and recommendations.
Manage planning, budgeting, and forecasting: Lead the annual budget and forecast cycles, support managers in interpreting financial results, and guide financial decision-making across the organization.
Advise and partner with the business: Serve as a strategic advisor to management on financial matters, including investment decisions, risk assessment, regulatory impacts, and performance improvement initiatives.
Lead projects and develop the finance team: Drive key finance improvement initiatives, manage complex processes independently, and coach junior finance professionals to ensure capability growth and high-quality output.
Optimize cash flow and financial performance: Analyze revenue, costs, liabilities, and credit conditions to ensure effective cash flow planning and recommend financial instruments to meet business needs.

Your Background
Relevant academic degree: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Solid finance experience: Several years of experience in controlling, financial reporting, and financial management within a complex or international organization.
Strong analytical and technical skills: Proven ability to work with financial models, forecasts, and complex data, combined with deep knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Effective communicator: Ability to clearly present financial insights to senior stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
Leadership and coaching capability: Experience guiding junior finance colleagues or leading financial processes/projects.

How you´ll make an impact
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team in the Global Centre of Competence for Power Quality (formerly known as FACTS). You will be responsible for managing all project documents, ensuring that documentation processes are established, followed, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves setting up control of documentation, following up on deliverables, and compiling final plant documentation at project close-out.
You will implement documentation management processes in delivery projects and adapt them to fit project specific contractual requirements.
You will ensure project team members receive adequate support to follow documentation processes in the Document management system and correspondence tool used in delivery projects.
You will prepare and maintain Project Document Lists with input and cooperation from the project teams.
You will maintain Customer Document List, prepare reports and presentations related to project documentation, and monitor documentation progress (e.g., review and approvals, planned deliverables) in accordance with the agreed time-schedule.
You will process incoming and outgoing project documentation
You will follow up on deliverables with stakeholders in the project.
You will coordinate your activities with other members of our documentation team and support each other to ensure a positive and engaging work environment.

Your background
You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
Experience in technical writing is an advantage.
You are fluent in technical / professional Swedish language and are comfortable conducting meetings internally and with customers entirely in Swedish
You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
You can analyse and manage large volumes of documents.
You are proficient using document management systems and tools.
You have excellent communication and follow-up skills.

You will be a vital member of the finance team within the organization and responsible for factory controlling at one of our manufacturing units within Electrification Smart Power (ELSP) Division, located in Västeras, Sweden. As member of the Management Team, as well as of the HUB Central Europe Controlling team, you will provide key support to the business, ensuring accurate tracking and processing of all transactions. Västeras factory is part of the Global Electrification footprint and is responsible for the production of products, mainly sold to industrial customers via ABB local sales organizations and Regional Distribution Centers.
Your responsibilities
Acting as a business partner to plan and ensure profitable business while serving local Management and HUB Controlling Manager as the key partner for the ELSP Division in determining business strategy in line with wider Division and Product Group strategies.
Translating business strategy into plans and establishing measurable targets, evaluating the financial implications of various strategic decisions, identifying risks, and recommending actions.
Overseeing the KPI driven business planning and forecasting process mainly for the organization but also serving and supporting the needs and requirements of the Controlling at Västeras plant.
Establishing cost structures, productivity optimization and capital efficiency while closely monitoring cash flow and taking relevant actions to improve net working capital while complying with internal guidelines/procedures and external regulatory requirements.
Performing financial analysis, reporting to business managers, and making suggestions to improve performance, where appropriate.
Establishing and overseeing the processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information, ensuring high quality information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant Local/Country/Division/Region Controllers, the Accounting Center, and other internal customers to identify and discuss issues, suggestions for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency.

Your background
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
More than 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software with focus on SAP and MS Office.
Great interest in business development adhering to well-structured working methods.
To be successful with us, it is important that you take ownership of your area of responsibility and that you are self-sufficient as well as a team player.
You have the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and deliver on your commitments.
You have substantial controlling and accounting experience. Fluency in English is a prerequisite, written and spoken alike. Swedish is an add on.
