Quintus Technologies is looking for an enthusiastic Stress Analyst to join our team of Calculation Engineers in Västerås, Sweden. This team is currently immersed in an exhilarating and challenging phase, striving to enhance existing equipment and revolutionize our product range.
As an experienced and qualified engineer specializing in stress analysis and mechanical design, you will play a pivotal role in Quintus. As Stress Analyst you will be a key member in developing Quintus high pressure machines. You are responsible for performing advanced calculations in areas as structural calculations and sheet metal forming simulations.
Main tasks:
To dimension forged components and the wire winding
To perform structural calculations on all different press types
To be responsible for structural calculations within a project
Assessment of pressure machines according to standard and codes, e.g ASME and PED
To produce and review calculation reports.
To be responsible for the certification design
To support production in the winding process
To develop and maintain analysis tools, i.e computer codes
To support quality department in non conformity and suggest actions
To support MF tools and application development with sheet metal forming simulations
To maintain and develop tools and documents in the calculation process.

Your profile
To thrive in this role we believe you should have a few years of experience of mechanical engineering and ANSYS stress analysis software. Industrial experience of heavy equipment is an advantage, as well as experience of high pressure equipment.
You have an Master´s degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering with specialization in relevant subject. Fluent English, both written and oral. Swedish is seen as an advantage. Meritorious qualifications include experience in the design of construction machinery, strong calculation skills.

As the FSE Lead Engineer at Mechanical Engineering, you will have a key role working between the Customer Support organization and the engineering department within Quintus Technologies. Your profile and qualifications

You have a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience with mechanical engineering. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both written and Excellent communication and information sharing skills, written and spoken alike
Ability to document information in a structured way
Experience from technical problem solving of heavy industrial equipment
Ability to work, and deliver results, together with a distributed team
Experience from working with case management systems
Experience from working with systems as Siemens NX and Team Center
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and oral. Other language skills are beneficial
Previous experience with high pressure equipment is an advantage.

As automation engineer you are a key player in developing software, the IT architecture and the external interfaces in Quintus products. An important part of the role will be to contribute and drive the work with modularization and standardization for our products.
We use Windows as operating system. However, it is an advantage if you have experience from Linux. Our HMI is developed in Wonderware and Allen Bradley but in the future more object-oriented programming will be implemented. PLC programming is mainly done in Allen Bradley's system and Siemens.
You will work closely with electrical engineers and fluid systems engineers within the department, but also with your colleagues in Product management and in Customer service.
You report to Manager System Modules. The position is located in Västerås.

Experience in Wonderware System Platform, Rockwell FactoryTalk or View Designer is an advantage. Experience of databases and working with agile methods is also an advantage.

As electrical and control engineer, you are responsible for configuring and maintaining the electrical systems for Quintus products. The job involves close cooperation with sub-suppliers to create cost efficient and qualitative solutions. As an electrical engineer, you specify all electrical hardware in our products, including electrical cabinets, external components and routing. All design is documented in Teamcenter, we are using Autocad for creating our schematics.
