TASKS
As Electrical Design Engineer you will be working for global companies with global power excellence in manufacturing and design. You will dimension products, interact with suppliers and visit clients at sites. You will work closely with the end customer when developing a technical solution.
Assignments with focus on power supply product electrical design, development, modifying and cost reducing efforts. You will support marketing, manufacturing and field service. Design, plan, integrate, test and commission requirements on customer systems. Prepare electrical design and related documents as per customer specification and technicality as per agreed timelines.
 
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
At least 3 years design experience in power electronics or general electrical engineering.
Ability to work on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment.
Must be a self-motivated team member and able to communicate with all levels. Can work under pressure and meet the project schedule, target cost and product performance.
Experience with CAD-software, preferably either MicroStation, E3, elMaster, EPlan or AutoCAD.

Vad innebär rollen som konstruktör anläggning/mekanik?


I rollen som konstruktör anläggning/mekanik ansvarar du för:


- Anläggningskonstruktion av primärutrustning och övrig utrustning.
- Framtagande av övergripande layout för utomhus/inomhus-ställverk (10-170 kV) och uppställning i byggnader.
- Konstruktion och dokumentation av ställverk och ingående apparater.
- Framtagande av montagedokumentation och slutdokumentation.




Projekten är antingen nya eller ut/ombyggnation i Mellansverige.


Arbetet i leveransprojekten leds av en projektledare och som konstruktör ingår du som en viktig del i projektteamet med ansvar för dina bitar. Kundspecifikationen styr anläggningens utformning och möten med kund och entreprenörer är en naturlig del av arbetet. Viktiga mål i projekten är en nöjd kund, att hålla/förbättra budget och aktivt arbeta med ändringar/tillägg.


Tjänsten är placerad vid vårt kontor i Västerås.

Lead Technical Engineer - Substation Projects As a lead engineer in you are responsible for the technical management, conception and coordination in switchgear projects. Focus will be mainly switchgear applications and its requirements. You develop solutions with customers and internal and external partners and implement them in project teams. Commissioning Engineer - HV/MV Electrical Substations

In this position you will act as the responsible commissioning engineer overseeing the installation and commissioning or equipment, plant and systems for assignments classified as low to medium complexity. You will manage completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Tasks:
Technical contribution
• Contributes to planning and implementation of
commissioning activities.
• Supports and coordinates the installation
activities with the Installation Supervisor / Site
Manager.
• Implements commissioning design changes and
provides mark-ups for as-built project
documentation.
• Supports continuous improvement of project
process and product and system design via
provision of lessons learned feedback.
• Participates in internal project review meetings
and provides inputs on commissioning
activities.

Sales Support
• Assists in creating proposals for commissioning
projects or programs through estimated
commissioning hours for own discipline.

Contract Management
• Supports Project Managers in issuing claims
(new scope of work, cost impact, time impact,

Planning and control
• Creates work plans and cost estimates for work
in own area of responsibility and proactively

Risk and opportunity management
• Represents the Commissioning function at risk
review meetings throughout the project
lifecycle e.g. hazard and operability study and
hazard identification study reviews in the
design phase and the Commissioning panel

• Conducts risk and opportunity assessments in
real time during the commissioning phase to
ensure safe implementation of the
