The successful candidate will be a Senior Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience working in an engineering consultancy, industrial plant and/or mine site environment. The Senior Engineer will have an extensive background in mechanical engineering, project management, mining, or mineral processing and should be equally comfortable working in an office or visiting mine sites.
The Senior Engineer will be based in our Sweden office, working as part of the European engineering pool, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams across our regional offices. You will support the delivery of high-quality technical solutions, contribute to the development of local capabilities, and help shape the continued growth and success of our Nordic office.
Tasks
· Support engineering at all stages of the project life cycle (i.e. PFS, FS, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning)
· Develop project schedules at all stages of the project life cycle (i.e. PFS, FS, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning).
· Lead projects, as the primary client contact, directing and managing a project team composed of both internal and external resources
· Identify client-specific project management requirements and tailor project delivery to the needs of the client
· Proactively manage project budget, schedule, and scope, adhering to project-specific requirements
· Prepare forecasted budget spend on a project-to-project basis
· Lead the preparation of cost estimates suitable to the level of accuracy required for the project
· Technical communication, including specifications, report writing and presentations
· Peer review of technical documents
· Collaborate with Senior staff to effectively manage office resources and meet project deadlines
· Preparation of engineering proposals to address client needs
· Develop and maintain positive client relationships through project engagement, site visits, and technical excellence
· Participate in business development activities, including identifying opportunities, attending industry events, and supporting proposals

· Take ownership and accountability for project outcomes; identify and implement improvements where necessary
· Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members Support individual development by offering technical training, feedback, and performance support
· Contribute to the development of internal knowledge-sharing initiatives
· Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, reports, etc.)
· Application of technical skills to perform problem solving and engineering tasks
· When on site, lead by example; practicing safe behaviour and habits
· Ongoing professional development
Minimum Requirements and Competencies
· Qualified to degree level or higher in a suitable subject (related to Engineering)
· Registered, or actively working towards this status with appropriate engineering body
· 10+ years' engineering and project management experience. Experience in an engineering consulting firm is considered an asset.
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Strong presentation and technical writing skills, especially technical reports
· Ability to manage own time effectively, develop project plans, and to schedule work to deliver on multiple projects and work packages running together
· Attention to detail and a commitment to technical excellence
· Able and willing to travel locally and internationally
· A valid driver's licence
· Fluent in English, both written and oral. Fluency in Swedish is considered an asset

The Graduate Engineer will be provided with on-the-job training and mentoring to support them in their development. They will have the opportunity to conduct global site visits with Project Managers and be directly involved in the design and engineering of pipelines, material test data interpretation and evaluation.. Tasks
Hydraulic analysis and design of water and slurry pump and pipeline systems elements
Mechanical design and engineering of mining systems, including process plants, pumps, pipelines and related infrastructure
Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans) and report regularly on project status
Selection, specification and evaluation of system components (pumps, piping valves, etc)
Technical communication, including specifications, report writing and presentations
Laboratory work (slurry and material testing, R&D projects etc) as required

Responsibilities
Delivering allocated tasks and meeting objectives as agreed with the Project Manager
Perfrom design or laboratory activities with the supervision and mentoring of senior staff.
Co-operate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
Assist with the preperation of proposal documents
Assist in preparing schedules of work
To apply engineering principles and logic
Create documents in line with company standards and maintain document management systems and schedules.

Job Specification
Qualified to degree level or higher in a suitable subject (related to Engineering)
Previous experience of being on a project site, possibly gained through a work placement
Able to demonstrate an awareness and understanding of computer aided design preparing technical drawings (PFDs, P&IDs;, GAs and Pipe Drawings)
Strong interpersonal skills, able to work both independently under direction and with a team to discuss and resolve complex technical challenges and to find solutions
Able and willing to travel locally and internationally
A valid driver's licence
