Are you passionate about mechanics and robotics? Together Tech is looking for a Mechanical Test Engineer to join us in Västerås, focusing on testing and evaluating the durability and performance of components in industrial automation systems. This is an long-term customer assignment where your work directly impacts product quality and innovation. As part of your role, you will:
Conduct mechanical testing of cables, moving parts, and electric motors.
Perform wear and tear, fatigue, and pinch-risk tests
Analyze and document test results, supporting continuous improvement.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize component durability.
Develop and maintain testing procedures, rigs, and protocols in a lab environment.
Your technical bakgrund
Master's/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar field.
Some years of experience in mechanical or mechatronic testing, ideally in a lab environment.
Familiarity with motor testing, cable testing, and component wear evaluations.
Good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of Swedish is considered merit.
Practical experience with robotics testing is a strong plus.
