Process Business Area is one of the three business areas within Roima and contributes to almost one third of Roima’s revenue. As our growth story continues, we are looking for a Project Manager with following responsibilities and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Being a customer facing role, PM should be able to manage customer and business of his/her area of responsibility. Take ownership of the project delivery.
Delivery and execution of Industrial IT solutions in compliance with agreed specifications and contracts.
Manage delivery stream, establish project governance in compliance with “Roima’s delivery centre of excellence guidelines” and hold project governance meetings to identify and manage success and risk factors.
Lead a cross functional, multi cultural team to ensure value is successfully delivered to our customers on time, on budget along with managing project scope and changes.
Motivate and monitor internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
Project and milestone planning with detailed project plan and work breakdown structure.
You will also be responsible for reporting transparent, ongoing, and forecasted project performance, risks, issues, and resource requirements, both internally as well as to customers. This will require you to be structured, open-minded, communicative and engage on a regular basis with multiple people from team, sales, management, customer and/or sub-contractors and work closely with resource planners.
Utmost focus shall be on customer satisfaction, delivery excellence in collaboration with Roima Delivery Centre of Excellence practices, quality, project performance, reporting and commercial awareness (risk management, costing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting).
We expect you to have:
Several years of experience in project / program management.
Degree in business and / or minimum a Bachelor of Engineering.
Experience of working on international projects with multinational teams.
Capability to apply commercial awareness, financial acumen, financial monitoring, and delivery practices to projects for optimal results.
Proven track record of successfully delivering large and complex projects in IT Solutions / Software development field.
Pragmatic approach focusing on being result oriented, self motivated, global mindset, teamwork, intelligent risk management and who is comfortable with meeting deadlines.
You should be social in professional context, good at building trustable relationship and value them.
PMI or PRINCE2 or similar project management accreditation would be a plus.
Experience of working with sub-contractors would be a plus.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency with MS Office, Excel and Atlassian tools is a plus.
Having a background from working with production related IT within the manufacturing- or process industry will give you an even better starting position to your future success with Roima. To succeed in the task, you need a good understanding of the customer's needs as well as solid problem-solving skills. An understanding of the manufacturing industry's operating models and needs for information systems is a bonus.
At Roima, you can work at the Roima office of your choice. This position is based in Sweden (preferably Västerås or Linköping) and Roima uses a hybrid model, thus enabling also partial remote work.
